So, Whose Finger Is It Anyway?

    ONLY IN AMERICA

Ok, this case has been bizarre from the beginning and looks like the scammer finally got her comeuppence.  I just want to know where did the finger come from? Or do I?

"A Pope is a Pope is a Pope": Give Me $20 On Benedict and $20 on Innocent

    ONLY IN AMERICA

Capitalism is alive and well. This guy basically hedged is bets and came out ahead by registering domain names for what he thought where conceivable choices for whomever the next pope would be.

    He scored with BenedictXVI.com.

Now he's spending his time trying to figure out what to do with it and swearing up and down that he won't sell it to pornographers.

    Vanity Thy Name is Ann

    ONLY IN AMERICA

I happen to admire Ann Coulter and many other entertainers who demonstrate that capitalism is alive and well in the good ole USA. I love reading her stuff because it cracks me up. Say what you want about her politics, she's downright funny.

That's why I find it confusing, a bit absurd and just a tad dissapointing that she let her vanity run away with her and she caused such a stir over the recent Time Magazine cover.

Oh, wait, I get it. Cause a stir. Get on all the talk shows, grab the pub, get more people to read the article than who would have originally. Show biz savvy if ever I heard it. She's funny and she's smart.

Guess we need to change that old PR maxim that says "it doesn't matter what they say about me as long as they spell my name right" to "it doesn't matter what they say about me as long as they take a bad photo I can complain about."

Wanted: Original copy of 'Moore's Law' -MSNBC.com

    ONLY IN AMERICA.

Seems that news stories trumpeting tomorrow's anniversary of Moore's Law, along with Moore and Intel's search (with a $10,000 bounty) for an original copy have led to theft.

A copy of the April 19, 1965 issue of Electronics Magazine containing the now famous article by Mr. Moore was pilfered from the University of Illinois Engineering library and has prompted other libraries to protect their copies of the magazine.

If you are unfamilar with Moore's Law or just want more info on this follow the link below.

    Curiosity-Status Symbol-Target for Theft: A Natural Progression?

It had to happen. Seems fences are telling their, er...umm... suppliers that iPods are hot items, resulting in an increase in iPod thefts.
